The service therefore provides impartial information, guidance and support, free to all individuals, and makes responsible use of the experience so gained. Whatever the enquiry, simple or complex, the CAB will help. If specialist help is needed, we can provide it within the service, or point people in the right direction. Citizens Advice is the operating name of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux.The service is independent and provides free, confidential, impartial advice to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or disability. Mendip Citizens Advice Bureau would like to thank everyone who has supported and continues to support us: notably, Somerset County Council, Mendip District Council, Shepton Mallet Town Council, Wells City Council, Glastonbury Town Council, Frome Town Council, Street Parish Council as well as many of the other parish councils in the Mendip area, and the Somerset Rural Development Area. We would also like to thank all of those organisations who provide consultancy and back up to our service i.e. Somerset Welfare Rights Unit, Shelter, Citizens Advice Specialist Support Unit, Citizens Advice West Region etc. as well as all of those local organisations with whom we liaise and who help us to help our clients. |
